Central Virginia Chapter PCEA OF AMERICA, INC.

About Us

Who we are:  The Central Virginia Chapter was formed in Lynchburg, Virginia origionally in 1975 as Chapter No. 4 (The fourth Chapter to be formed).  It was disbanded in 1977 when membership began to dwindle and economic hard times in the construction industry was taking its toll on such organizations.  It was later re-established in 1987 and has thrived since then with as many as 60 members from the central Virginia area.

What we do:  The Central Virginia Chapter PCEA, holds monthly dinner meetings from January thru December, except the summer months of June, July and August.  Each meeting a guest speaker is invited to talk about a subject relating to the construction industry.  A Captians Choice Golf Tournament is also held once each year (usually in June or September) with proceeds raising funds for our local Scholarship programs.  The chapter also hosts several social functions each year such as a barbecue or the annual Christmas Party.  Each Christmas the chapter raise funds for a local charity which is picked by the Chapters Board of Directors each year.  The Central Virginia Chapter also supports local scholarships for those enrolling in the construction related field.
